Voice Tools Overview

Voices are at the heart of Acoust. Whether you are picking from our library or bringing a custom voice you recorded, here’s how to stay organized and confident in your choices.

Select Voices in the sidebar to open the gallery. You’ll find curated tabs—like Voice Lab and All Voices—plus filters for language and style. Play with the preview text to hear how a voice handles different phrases, and add optional instructions (for example “warm and friendly” or pronunciation hints) before generating a sample.

Once you fall in love with a voice, click Use Voice to start a project with that voice already selected. You can always change it later, but this shortcut gets you straight into the editor with the sound you want.

Save Favorites for Later

Inside any project, open the voice picker to see your recent choices and favorites. Mark voices you rely on often so they are easy to find again. When you switch projects, your favorites travel with you, making it simple to keep campaigns consistent.

Need the same voice everywhere? Toggle the option to apply a voice to every section in the project so you do not have to select it one-by-one.

Clone Your Own Voice

Head to Voice Cloning to turn a high-quality recording into a reusable voice:

  1. Click Create Voice and follow the recording guidelines. Speak naturally and provide at least a minute of clean audio.
  2. Upload the file, name the voice, and confirm you have permission to use it.
  3. Check back on the cloning page; you will see the status move from pending to approved when the model is ready.

Free plans include one active clone; paid plans allow more. You can press play to preview the voice, use it to launch new projects, or delete it if you no longer need it.

Tips for Consistent Sound

  • Keep a short list of “go-to” voices for different content types—podcasts, explainers, promotional clips—so every project has a clear direction.
  • Save sample phrases you use often (product names, taglines) and include them in the preview text to confirm pronunciation before you commit.
  • If you are working in multiple languages, switch the language filter to see voices designed for that audience and preview with translated scripts.
